Which part of the bindings?

A lot use neoprene and EVA type materials. (foam rubber variants, I'm not much into non-metallic compounds).

Footbeds tend to be aluminium or composite materials.

Bindings can last anything from weeks to years depending on type of use you give them, and how well you look after them. I know a guy using 3 or 4 year old Ultras and they are still fine.

I've had my Nice Rockets for 6 years of sea riding, the holes I used to have them on got a bit corroded (alu foot plate & stainless bolts = corrosion) but cos I always rinse my setup down with fresh water and stand it up to dry I could still use those holes without a problem. Since I blew my knee out I've had my bindings a bit straighter so I use different holes.

As far as what they're made of - that's what google's for.
