Default never wake boarded before

i just got a wakeboard yesterday. i have never tried it before and i only got it because my dad wanted me to get skis or a kneeboard or a wakeboard and since i skatboard and snowboard, i thought it would be similar, right?
ill have to learn by myself.
any tips?


ive got a hyperlite logic 139 board and hyperlite spin boots.

Go to a club to get some rookie help.

Well judging by the time the thread was started and the fact the location is not filled in leads me to believe he is state side and maybe boarding all year round.

Get yourself along to a club for some lessons first though.
