Default hyperlite board with liquid force bindings

I am looking to purchase a new wakeboarding setup and I am curious to know if Hyperlite boards are compatible with Liquid Force bindings. I bought the 2005 LF Alphas and I am looking to purchase one of the following Hyperlite boards: 2005 Hyperlite 3DS, 2005 Hyperlite Era, or the 2005 Hyperlite Premier.

I know that boards should be compatible with any bindings but a buddy of mine said he couldn't get his LF Sphynx on a Hyperlite board last summer. I just want to be safe instead of sorry. Thanks in advance.

The only problem i've come across was with mixing hyperlite parks bindings on to LF trip board the screws bottomed out. the bindings felt ok till i got halfway through my run and realised they had worked loose. cured the problem by putting a plastic washer underneath the screwhead. If your thinking of mixing LF bindings with a hyperlite board in theory you shouldn't run into this problem but it's worth bearing in mind. Got a mate who has LF sphynx bindings on a cwb board with no problems at all.

good luck with the new set up.

I had same problem, you need to change the screws.

a friend of mine put his LF ultras onto my hype premier, only a small bit of the thread was actually used into the board so i was a bit concerned but thought it'd be ok for only one run.

he ripped the top part of the thread out of my board!! its ok cause my hype bindings still screw into the deaper sections which is ok, but if you're gonna ride with LF bindings all the time on a Hype board i'd consider getting threads that run all the way into the board so you get all the hold you can possibly get!!
