wakeboard rope

i'm looking to get a wakeboard rope this year and was wondering which one is better for the money......a spectra core line or a spectra 2X core line

You probably won't be able to tell too much of a difference if you are a rookie. I've gone through a couple ropes in my day-- and the one I like the most, I've had for about 2 years now. personally, I'd get the good one and take care of it--keep it for a while and the price difference will probably be worth it.
