It rots the rubber in you’re bindings and kills the lesser spotted great crested newt.

I used branded fairy liquid for 3-4 years on a pair of Liquid force Exo's and it did not affect them at all. i always rinsed with fresh water before i put the board away. My newer Liquid Force Transit binding don't need lube to get in, so i dont use it any more, but we always have some on the boat for anyone else to use.

I've tried allsorts, from shaving foam to conditioner, but branded fairy or persil works best. i didnt tend to dilute it but apply less of it than if it was watered down. Conditioner was good also, but not shampoo ;-)

Neal.

There has been a lot of discussion about wash liquid on here in the past. I've been using it for years and it has not done any harm to my ultras. I use the cheapest of the cheap tesco liquid and it works well for me.

I like the cheap stuff as its very watery and disperses as soon as the board is in the water and as such prevents my foor from slipping inside the binding or releasing early. Tried the more luxurous brands and didn't like the slippery feeling.
