Hi everyone,
I have just started wakeboarding in the past couple of weeks, great fun although I have had a good few "dunkings" I find getting up really easy and heel side is no problem but struggling a little with toe side. I have been using my son's board up to the other day when I got a board of my own for my birthday, its a Crank board and so different to my son's "eye of the storm" board. It seems very twitchy. Does anyone have any tips about the performance of this board? Look forward to talking to you all. Pics x PS My hubby even had my name put on the board, sweet eh? lol |

ive not had any experience with this board. but from what i understand in your post i would relate the twitchy feeling to your fins setup, how many fins do you have? is there a diference in fin config from your sons board? i may be totally wrong but i reckon thats why you feel a difference in the boards. it may also be due to the boards shape, or how the rails run on the board (best described as steps in the base of the board).

Thanks for the reply Neb. My board is slightly longer than my son's and has a fin at either end and two moulded ones running down the length. My son has taken the fins off his board so maybe thats the difference so I'm going to take mine off to see if that makes the difference. Should be trying it tomorrow, will let you know if there is a difference.
Thanks Pics ![]() |
