Yo dawg
Dude you don't need lessons, just ride and get someone to give you a few tips.. try www.cableology.com forum for raleys. Dave has got the description down to a T. Seriously though, if you speak to someone who knows what they are talking about then its easy! Altho if someone says just cut really hard and throw it, they don't know what they are talking about... I think of three things when inverting. 1) Shoulders - Push back and chest out to load the line 2) Hips - Push out to create an arched back so energy bypasses your body and goes straight to the board 3) Intensity - if going for a raley/s bend cut real hard, if going for a roll trick cut progressively and less hard But deffo go to Daves site - much more detail! |

ooo forgot to add keep the handle in as close as you can to your leading hip - very important as this maintains the tension, when ppl get tired this tends to worsen and thats why the inverts get smaller and more sketchy.
The coaching if I'm right, I believe is with Rich Hiney? Not sure of his number tho.. ring up thorpe and ask though, they are very helpful! Thorpe are also starting raley clinics.. |
