Thanks for the reply!

tried using the wizard but it gave me a long list of possible boards. Does this mean that any would do and just look at the prices to know which one is a good deal?

What are the better brands or models especially for a beginner like me?

You are not a heavy rider, so i would start by trying the Liquid Force boards, Ps3 is a very popular board on cable, it has a rounded forgiving edge and is light, maybe the Team, But if you are hitting a lot of kickers or sliders, don,t expect the L.F. boards to last too long, generally the Hyperlite boards would suit heavier riders better, and now you have Ronix boards they would be worth looking at suppose to be strong and lighter than Hyperlite. Dont buy a board without trying it . Assume you are in Florida so i am sure you would be able to try demo boards at OWC or Deerfield.
If you do try the Ronix boards we all want to know in the U.K. what they are like as we haven't seen one yet
Good luck trying boards

Nick C.

Am I stupid or are you Sherlock Holmes! How can you work out he’s in Florida from two posts neither of which mention Florida. Is it elementary my dear Watson?

Plural cables, Only place with 2 cables that you could realistically travel between. (about 4 hours drive i think) . I could be wrong though?
