Hope you have a speedy recovery mate...
I know its not much consolation, but look on the bright side (if you can turn that far) at least its not a dislocated shoulder or knee (hoping you don’t find out your shoulder is on Wednesday) you would be out for an awful lot longer than with anything broken, you should be back in 6 months... Dislocated knee would be a year... Or longer... Ask Timmy or Duncan...

Best of luck when you go back in!!!

Thumbs up Och

Managed to get 1 photo on my phone of my ankle before the nurse came back to plaster it, you can't tell how swollen it looks (from above ankle to toes all the same width) but you can see the brusing on the bottom of the ankle all the way to the front of the foot shall try and transfer it from phone to this old laptop somehow. Sholder is ok but still have 4 weeks in a load bearing cast now that some of the major swelling has gone down. Elbow and wrist are now not broken according to doctor so that's a bonus, just very very badly sprained but both still hurt like hell. Was hoping to get my W2W jumps behind a boat down my the end of may and be going over the kicker up at sheffield, but i'll have to wait now.

Ouch for sure.

I did something very similar 8 years ago on a jetski. I hit the beach at about 40mph. Jet ski stopped dead and I flew 30ft through the air and broke my colar bone and dislocated my shoulder. They also thought I had broke my neck and so didn't want to move me, so as the tide was coming in they got about 50 people from the nearby beach restaurant to dig a hude moat around me (very embarassing).

Its sure better to fall in the wetstuff! My shoulder has never been the same.

Hope your recovery go well fella.
