I started with a 13 foot fletcher and 40 hp,(but that was 25 years ago and boarding wasnt there then, still was a lot of fun)

Ahhh memories.

Little 13" Fletcher with merc 50 on the back, used to cut hard and pull the back end out of the water

I started out with a 40hp Suzuki engine on some kind of unbranded little yellow 14ft speed boat.

It was excellent fun and it did manage to tow a wakeboarder.
