Ride a cable until you get confident on your board its much cheaper and less intense to learn on.

I'd have a drive down to Sheffield cable it's only 30 mins tops down the road from donny. And all the staff are good, i had Andy the boss teach me.

The thing that puts me off about the cable is that my favorite thing about wakeboarding at the min is jumping the wakes. And i gather there is no wake on a cable ski!

It would however be excellent for learning riding switch, ollie's and surface tricks.

Hi Liz. Your more than welcom to ride with us. Were constantly looking for a 3rd person as most of my mates dont wakeboard. We are from Birghouse (jct25 M62) but we have a boathouse at Bowness on Windermere. Where up there most weekends. It would prob take you about 2hrs to get up there. yeah the cable is a bit short on wakes. Haverigg is 40 mins from J36 of the M6 come ride with us- Super Air wake boat, Proskate skate boat and a jetski and a winch. you can rent a room for a tenner a night in the clubhouse or camp for free at the side of the lake as long as your riding, so you can make a weekend of it. mixture of guys and girls that ride here so bring who you want or come on your own.
