Default Surface 180

What is the best way to accomplish a surface 180? I tried yesterday while the water was very smooth and the board bit into the water and needless to say "FACEPLANT!" Most of your weight in on the back foot so how do you transfer than when turning? Does there need to be slack in the rope beforehand because it seemed like the boat just pulled me over while I was in the middle of the turn.

Thanks for the help!

Default 180....

Try getting your weight evenly spread across both feet, rather then twisting your feet move the handle from your leading hip to the other lifting your back-foot hip upwards as you move it round. Keep the boat speed nice and low until you nail it and bulid the speed as your confidence increases. Have a look at 'The destruction manual' dvd, good clear instructions!!! Hope this helps??

Default 180....

Any decent dvd supplier, ie amazon etc. Or try places which supply wakeboarding gear. It seems the main thing with wakeboarding is to relax when trying any new tricks and get as much time out on the water as you can!!! The dvd is well worth a look!!
