Default Drinks are on me....

Hello, I assume that the norm is to get the drinks in when your a newbie?
I'll be having a frozen margarita.... Anyone joining me?

Well, I'm looking to buy a board, I am a beginner but don't want something that I will need to replace soon, so something inbetween would be good...! I'm 5ft 10 & about 10 n half stone. Any recommendations?!!! I have had a look and am just completely bamboozaled by the different types and will end up choosing completely the wrong one just because I like the graphics

Sooo, please help!

Here's a good place to start

WakeWorld -- Board Wizard

I'll have a Stella!

Pop to Boxend and demo until you find one you like. Do you ride boat, cable or both?

Boxend is excellent. Boat and cable. Very relaxed and friendly. Just needs a few more kickers and sliders to be perfect. I think they do New Schnitzel, O'brien and Liquid Force kit.

Suggest you get used to the cable first then try a few boards. Then check the one you like best behind their Nautique.

Just looked at the website. Looks very cool and I can't believe I didn't know it was there! I can't wait to go, will call to book in tomorrow. Do you think I should learn on the cable instead of the boat then?
