Well, am getting there slowly but surely...!
Decided to stick with the club board until next year when I've actually got money to spend and a bit more experience. I have noticed that i'm getting callouses on my hands, does anyone wear gloves whilst boarding and would you recommend fingerless or full gloves?? |

Do not wear gloves... develop the callouses(is that how you spell it?) if you wear gloves you will find you have to hold on that much harder and therefore your forearms ache.. only wear gloves in december and january when it is the only way to hold the handle. and even then i would recommend silk gloves and marigolds with an elastic band round the wrist.
also it does not look stylish. |

I wear gloves due to a thumb injury on a jetski, more people wear gloves than you think ...

I wear gloves, mainly to prevent jelly fish stings (I had a bad reaction to a sting years ago, and don't fancy it again!).
I find that my hands don't cramp up as much with gloves on, plus calluses don't look good on girls hands! |
