I'm thinkin of buying a wakeskate but don't know if I want to buy one with foam or with tape of the deck. Anybody got any suggestions?

well i have the cwb with the grip tape and LOVE IT. we ride with and without shoes. it doesn't tear your feet up if you don't ride with shoes but it kinda feels like you are naked. i recommend the grip tape. IT WORKS GREAT

Its all about personal preference, if you have ever ridden a skateboard(properly) you will feel at home on tape, the "soft tops" mean you can ride without shoes and it wont trash your feet.

My first set up had the traction pads, then i got tape and haven't looked back i have 2 skates with tape.

the only other choice is regular or concave, if you are new then i would recommend regular, if you have ridden for a while then the choice is yours...

All the best

Robin
