Default Backside butter slide.

Hello all. I can do a frontside butter slide all day long, but as soon as I try a backside I eat it. :x I can't seem to get my board to slide around. I am regular footed by the way. Also, I don't edge vey well on my toeside when trying to jump. Any suggestions?

Hey Man i suck at my toeside to,
But i heard that if u want to get some big air, You Should try to go as far as possible out of the wake, when u think u cant go any further use all you'r speed to get on the wake, keep the rope near u'r hips and u should get big pop (this works for me when i do the heelside edge, but when i try it with the toeside i dont get much air)

Hi, the big problem with doing a butterslide on your toe-edge is catching the healedge by accident. To counter this you need to make sure that you keep well onto you toe-edge... almost forcing it if you have to.

I tend to do butterslides on the outside of the boat during a right hand (clockwise) turn when there's a bit of time to get the board setup right. You can also do them on the edge of the wake which is cool, the tricky bit is the rope tends to pull you back onto your heal edge... ;-)

Hope this helps, good luck.
