Default Do i need a tower????

Hi,

My boat is set up with transom hitches for waterskiing. Will these be any good for wakeboarding (when the boat is running, the hitches sit about 12 inches above the water) or do i need to get a tower type hitch made up (£££ 8O £££) ?

How much difference is this going to make?

hey man towers are sweet, but you can learn on about anything. towers are mainly for when you get good to get more air for better rotations and to be able to pull bugger and better tricks than you can dream, while bieng able to stomp that landing.

buy a boom (pole) alot cheaper, get one for around $250 I think but then you have to get someone to install it or do it yourself. I think riding with a pole or tower makes it alot easier.

I think i'm going to try and get a boom style tow point made up (I have a friend who can work stainless pretty well).

My boat doesn't make a huge wake (bought it for skiing, converted to wakeboarding  ) so theres probably no point in geting a massivly expensive tower for it.

Thanks for the help everyone
