After a fun summer of kiteboarding I’m selling my 11.2m Peter Lynn ARC to put towards buying a new boat. This kite is still in awesome condition—no rips or tears—and really is a lot of fun. I’ve used it exclusively on the water with my wakeboard (a Hyperlite Belmont 140), but it can also be used with a buggy or snowboard in the winter.
Specs: It’s called an 1120 ARC (11.2m) so it’s BIG which means it’s great for light wind days… It’s rated from 10-20 mph, but I’m a bigger guy (200lbs), so I usually like it up a little higher, say around 15-20. And this kite will really boost you—riders get 15 feet of air with a little practice.
It’s an easy kite to rig and great for beginners. And best of all, it’s super stable—much more so than inflatables. It is also a four line kite—which allows you to control how much power the kite has and makes relaunching a snap.
I paid around $1,000 for the kite (it comes with a carrying bag), $130 for a Airush Reride Bar (handle) and $120 for kite line (600lbs line).
$850 would take the whole package.
It’s all rigged up and ready to fly. I’ll include an instruction manual of tips and suggestions I’ve collected online that really lays it all out there for anyone who’s new to the sport.
It's located in the US midwest. If anyone has any questions, don’t hesitate to e-mail:
