Hi all,
It's always a good idea to wash the boat down with a hose every once in a while if the boat has been exposed to salt water, especially any metal areas, ie. window frames, and accessories, obviously using a wet cloth over any sensitive electronic components.
MasterCraft have a new SaltWater series which consist primarily of the deeper vee boats, like the MariStars and the X-Star, there are many of the X-Series boats which can be upgraded to SaltWater spec, such as th X-30. The SaltWater spec is essentially closed water cooling and upgraded components that are resistant to corrosion, plus the addition of sacrificial anodes etc.
If your MasterCraft doesn't have closed water cooling, we can fit it or a less expensive option is to fit the boat with a flush port. This allows you to connect a hose up to the system and rinse the boat thru with fresh water, this avoids saltwater from lingering in the water for too long.
