I'm coming to the end of my second season as a boat owner and am wondering what to do with it over the winter. I use the boat mostly on the sea and keep it berthed in a marina. Last year I pulled it out of the water around now and put it in storage until April. Just wondered if anyone uses their boat through the winter on the sea (seen the thread on drysuits) and if they get much use out of it? Any tips on storage if that's what you do (indoors, on the drive, etc)?
Thanks BF |

why stop riding now? I've only just put my summer suit back on after just boardies & rash vest over the summer! I managed in my summer suit til November last year - gonna see how long I can last this year before digging the winter suit out! Our boat stays in the water all winter. We don't get to use is as much over winter as in summer of course but it's still worth it when there's a nice flat day.
