I'm looking to get the boat in the water for the end of March this year. What preparations is everyone going to do for their saltwater boats?
I'll probably be looking at having the boat in the marina for the whole season so any advice on what to do upfront to save hauling her out mid season would be great ![]() So far my list includes: 1) de winterise 2) new antifoul if required 3) new packing on the vdrive 4) gelcoat tidyup if required

Just general testing (and replacement where necessary) of everything. Just keep nosing round the boat and checking electrical connections and joints etc...
Always a good time now to give the bilge area a keep wipe down.. it was pretty rancid last time I saw it - Maybe chuck a couple of gallons of warm soapy water down there ![]() |
