Hammerite for sure
when I used to have a boat trailer thats exactly how I used to repaint mine also make sure you seal up any holes or major ways for water to get into the inside of your tubing cos that will cause as much if not more damage than from water on the outside. are there any waxoil type products available for boat trailers |

is it a painted trailer or galvanised? if its painted no worries.. if galvanised you can buy some products which as basically zinc in a can. Don't go mad with a wirebrush if its a galvanised trailer.
