Went to look at Keilder last year without boat - looks alright for a change - will probably give it a go. Thanks for the recommendation as i was not sure you could use as non member - are the rules okay ie. nice sheltered stretches for flat water - allowing wakeboarding?
Regards the River trent we board from Marnham as a member approx £200 a year for boat. Great stretch of river with a pub and campsite. non tidal stretch approx 3.5 miles of clean water for wakeboarding and flat. Wish Preston had the same as it takes me a couple of hours to get up there. |

Keilder may be 10 miles long but there are only 3 or 4 areas you are allowed above 10mph in, to be fair though they are probably the areas you would choose anyway.
But it’s that desolate that in reality you can go anywhere you want.

Just planning some more trips for 2008 already booked Northern Ireland and Loch Lomond. Anyone got any unique locations with lake/riverside/estaury accomodation. Scotland looks good with the lochs further north but not much info on them. Anyone been further north with info on these lochs other than the usual loch earn/lomond/ken?
