Default Searching for new water

Trying to find some other new locations in the uk for 2008. This year we rented lake side/river side houses around Ireland/Scotland /England. We boarded Enniskilan-Ireland, river bann - Ireland , loch lomond-Scotland , River Trent , Abersoch and Loch Earn. As well as my other permanant locations on the River ribble and at Windermere does anyone have recommendations of some good wakeboard spots for long weekend breaks. Do not really want club sites due to membership fees. Just launch and go - good water and oppotunity to rent waterside accomodation - Near perfect locations!! Are there any left - there must be some lesser well known locations around Scotland?

We’ve tried Keilder Water in the past, it’s as brown as a cup of tea with no milk but they call it a fresh water reservoir. There’s lake side accommodation available and you probably won’t see another ski boat during the week it’s like the land that commerce forgot.
And it was only a fiver to register the boat.

Poole Harbours a good spot, you're supposed to register for the ski zone but I've been a few times and havn't as yet, I think £10 a dau or £100 for the year + harbour dues. This year we left the boat in poole quay and rented nearby.

Where did you stay on Loch Lomand, would you recomend?

If you’re going to Loch Lomond I don’t think you’ll find better than this, we couldn’t.

yes we stopped a couple of times for food and beers at the island. It is a great place!!. Must admit we went a bit 5 star Loch Lomond Waterfront, self catering holidays, luxury lodges, Scotland. good place with the oaktree pub and small marina next to it - but pricey for Scotland!! We hired for the week and took the tige up there. Flat water,Barbecues, sandy beaches and a jacuzi to drink beers in after the wakeboard sessions. Not bad for Scotland. Except for those annoying midges.
