There is a great little hut on the beach actually... Walk up the hill from the town (or along the beach) to the Hotel Anabelle (about 5 mins I seem to remember); this was where I stayed about 4 years ago.

On the beach right in front of the hotel is a hut run by some really friendly guys. The kits not that cutting edge but if you go a couple of times and know what you're doing you should be able to swing some discount and extra time behind the boat - the guy that ran it was great to us.. really friendly and welcoming.

I mostly Skied as their boat wasn't that wakeboard friendly (old 17ft outboard) but I had a blast - it was great to ski on beautifully warm, flat water with no one watching.. you can just rip it up and have a blast. They don't get many skiers there, mostly tourists learning the ropes so seemed happy to have someone who they could just stick in the water and tow around for a bit.

Skiing there holds some of my absolute fondest memories.. it was so great to just forget about the kit and enjoy the sun with zero pressure.

I am not sure if it's still there but my Parents visited the Anabelle for a 3rd time last year and it was still going strong so I assume it is now

Default Wakeboarding in Paphos Cyprus

Hi,

The best place to Wakeboard is Coral Bay in Paphos. Nice sheltered bay and perfect for boarding. no one goes wakeboarding its always the jet ski's however you might have to wait half an hour as they use the same boat to pull the banana rides and there are always people wanting to go on them. over the other side of the bay there is another watersports place at the back of the coral bay hotel but dont go there as he charges alot, its because of the rich tourists that stay in the 5 star hotel. when i first started it was 20 cyprus pounds which is roughly 40 euros but i did get him down to 15cy as i was a regular so if you are there for a good while try and get the price down. if you need anymore info pm me and we can swap mail addresses.

thanks

CY Wakeboarder
