[size=18][color=darkblue]Hey mate,

Shell would be wicked...

Sponsors wise were looking at so far; Wakeboard and waterski mag, Wakeboard towers, buywake.com and extreme gear (as in extreme T.V.).

As it stands at the moment im not 100% sure what each of the sponsors are willing to provide but i know that extreme gear are wanting to get involved with The UK uni committee and are looking at sponsoring all our events.... (jonny's been puting alot of effort in trying to secure sponsors)

The BWSF, are helping out with judges for all the skiing events, and im hoping for the wakeboard cable judges that Chris Potts would help out but i haven’t seen him to ask him yet. Also Jonnys getting in touch with Stew Mackie from the Quayside and were hoping to get him involved and maybe do some boat judging if he can, and also try and get some of the other uk pros up to do some expression sessions in the afternoon/evening when we’ve finished our events

Awesome article Gregg, highlites that we really dont have much time though!! Deadline on the 25th we really need to get out a generic poster with all the info on it for everyone to put up, try and drum up as many people as possible, start the hype machine.

Harry we need to make this to be as much of a social event with a "wakestock" feel to it as a comp so maybe you could look into bands and music and other entertainments, the key is we need to get loads of people there whether they want to ride or not.

Wednesday 16th i am guessing will be quite chilled out with people arriving whenever and getting set up, Thursday something needed in the evening like a massive BBQ / Hawain style beach party; then Friday we can have prize giving followed by bands and DJ; maybe even se up a marquee like they had in the summer for Tropicana party and sell tickets specifically for that evening as more people will be able to make it.

The rest of the time maybe we need a solid wrist band type thing, different colours for different things like "just-watching", and "competing", so maybe you could check that out.

Plus anyone know how we get hold of St. Johns Ambulance to play nursey??!!

Its go go go !!!

Gregg do you have exams now??

Will you be up on Wednesday, i know Matt was thinking of coming up, we could go check out the camping field and size things up for spectators on the St annes lake.

Maybe we could sort out a floating pontoon out in the middle, dont quite know what the H & S on that though !!!!

i know a fair few DJ's etc, and possible bands.

Am not based around london personnally, so i doubt i'll be able to track any local popular bands without local knowledge.

What kinda music are we looking for, can get a good range of progressive house, trip-hop, breakbeat DJ's, if thats an option.

Me and a pal play a few bars up here, acoustic stuff, if thats relevant????????

Rambo, let me know what kind of music and i'll see what i can do.

cheers
