Mayhem & holiday bad news!!!!

Guys,

I am sooo pained to give this news as we tried real hard to get this to work.

Firstly the holiday has had to be cancelled, the reason for this is that they guy in charge of the dock (boats etc) wanted us to give confirmation about a month ago, but we managed to stretch it till now. Now, unfortunately as Cap D'antibes is a summer resort, we've not been able to get in touch with the accomodation people and probably won't for the next few weeks.

What this means is, we cannot put a deposit down on the boarding without accom'. we tried to look for camping, but apparently its a pretty swarve area, so land is £££ bla bla bla. SORRY,

Secondly, i don't think we have enough time to organise mayhem. We're startin exams in 3-4 weeks time, and until then have got dissitation deadlines to work for, so its gonna be a squeeze unless we had tried to organise it for next week (reasons for that not happening are pretty clear).

Rich, Kat and I are going to be up in Loughborough all summer, so we may try and pull something together for us commitee folk (plus friends) at some point during or at the end of the summer. Like we said in the meeting, this could be good because it actually means we get to board having practiced a bit, rather than at the beginning of the summer, when we've only just broken out of the drysuits, twat hats, etc

any Q's let me know, and once again, really really sorry, and gutted.

We've gotta all get together again during the summer, at someones lake, princes/jb etc. that weekend was good, so we shouldn't just leave it there!!
