Hey everyone

I know its only the beginning of September but its rapidly approaching the start of the new academic year. Hopefully we will all have more events and more riding this year.

As we discussed last year it would be great if we could each possibly organise an event or fixture at ur local place of riding. Providing a list of fixtures for uni's throughout the year. So with this in mind has anybody got anything planned for 2004/2005 or any ideas?

I was looking at the possibility of taking some of the guys out to Spain to see the worlds in Oct, dont know if anyone’s interested? I know its not the real worlds but it would still be pretty cool to get away for a while.

Anyway, keep in touch, lets get some ideas flowing.... maybe you guys might wana let people know what uve planned for your sports fair to give other clubs ideas and so on. It's all about helping each other out.

as u know we're planning this uni' holiday for june next summer so if like me u've been boarding in the UK all summer u might just appreciate the weather how its supposed to be!!

we're still in negotiation but am trying to hurry it along so we can get names and numbers asap.

i'm not sure who's gonna be holding the nationals but think thats something we should get together to discuss at the earliest possible time.

anyway, can uni commitees let me know if they're still keen to bring a few guys along.

we're looking for a bout 40 people (20 each week), we're pushing for a really good price so don't worry bout that,

Hey,

The holiday thing sounds good although to be honest it's gonna be ages before I'd be able to get any ideas of numbers of people from our uni who would want to go. Was seriously contemplating the worlds though, although unfortunately it's right at the start of our term and due to slight academic under achievement last year I really can't take much time off this term.
For freshers fair got the X2 up at uni again, contemplating something equivalent to the ski clubs shotski induction, maybe a pint in each wakeboard binding? Also got the freshers party like last year with a marsbar vodka comeback.
Comps sound good although speaking to a lot of people they haven't had much of a chance to ride over summer so might need some practice in october, should maybe think about organising a small comp each term with the 3rd one being the nationals (which if we start organising now could probably find a good venue that will let us camp)
Anyway if any students around the london/chertsey area don't have their own uni/college club and want to join ours then they can email me.

Hey Liz, just a thought did u sort out getting the X2 through AJ or if u just asked Phill? coz i really cant be bothered to organise stuff through AJ, i'd really like to make it happen this year as AJ messed me arround last time. Oh and what dates ur freshers fair coz im hoping our's wont clash. we should do a joint day up at jb when we do the introduction to members.

Our freshers fair is tuesday 5th, i told aj about it and he told me to speak to andy cooper (guy who does the jbwa stuff down at jbs). The joint freshers party sounds like a good idea as long as we don't get too many people who want to use the cable at the same time, wold also aim to do it on the 13th. Also are you guys doing season passes this year or paying per visit? see you there soon

So are you gonna be in spain for the worlds gregg? When are you heading out? Me, McCulloch and Pat from Alliance are gonna be in Cordoba the week before, if your near come by for a ride. And they are the real worlds, the one in america is the imposter!! IWSF has people from all over the world entering, WWC has american and australian pro's and a handful of others. Craig's staying out there for the comp withAdz Trotman and a few others I think, so let us know your plans. We go on sunday.
