Have any of the other Uni wakeboard lcubs done anything to raise money for the club? if so, what have you done to gain money? I would love to get enough for a winch for the club!

When I ran the Uni surf club in Southampton we used to do a bit of in-club fund raising on trips and parties... there just wasn't any uni dosh for surfing compared to the rugger and athletics clubs. Adding a couple of quid to a trip can be a reasonable earner if you make sure to provide a good service to your members and stash the cash for equipment. Does depend on club size though.. we had 40 people on a trip on the big weekends.
