Default Smaller Sliders

Last time I went to thorpe there was only massive sliders(like the beetle). I have never hit a slider and was wondering if there are ever any smaller ones out that I could use to practise on?

thanks

As I understand the guys at Thorpe are current building a wakeskate/beginner slider which should be in the water soon.

In addition:

- The black berm (10ft hugh curved slider) will be going back in the water soon, apparently.

- The beginner kicker will aslo be back in the water soon, apparently.

... and bring on the beetle!

They are startin to put everything back in now and there is the sprite slider but also the smaller straight slider on the back straight, the only problem with it is that there is a steep transition onto it, which requires a big ollie to get onto it! But the sprite slider has a gradual transition so even just trying to nail the 1st part of it is a starting point. Enjoy

Is there a 'learn to slide' evening at Thorpe at all? I could do with a bit of tuition.
