It cost £30 to do the course, as my 7yr old son did it last week, and yeah it does wear your board out if you hit the kickers and sliders all the time. As long as you can get over the kickers and ride away thats all you have to do.

both my kids hit the obstacles and have a great time of it. But beware because they will damage your board to a lesser or greater degree. My son is pretty good on the sliders but when he slid of the side of the flat bar he caught his board on a screw and it opened up the underside like a zip, nice, especially on a brand new H/L Parks. Any contact with the obstacles will scratch your board, No big deal but it will happen.
