I dont't know why I'm putting this up, but I just wanted to say that JB is so friendly. I was a little nervous about going down for the first time a couple of weeks back, as I thought it would be full of pro's, and us little rookies would get in the way. But most people I have spoken to have been very friendly and helpful, and they didn't laugh when I continually fell of the cable, and are more than happy to give tips etc.

It's nice to find a hobbie/sport where people are not 'clicky'

The bug has bitten now, and we're down twice a week.

You are so lucky that you live so close to a cable. I'm quitelucky that I live close to a club but riding on a boat all the time can get a bit boring sometimes :? Ity would be cool to be ableto go on a cable about the same amount as the boat. Then you'd never get bored

Yep, agreeing with you there Robin. I ride at Thorpe and they are always nice there. I mean, there are a few buddy groups, but most people you can just chat to. Are you using the boat or the cable?

I'm on the cable at the moment, but will be planning a tow behind the boat soon. I'm trying to get down for about 3 hours a week at the moment. Just invested in my board, so I've just got to continue finding the money to fund this spawning addiction ;o)
