That course seemed like a big con when I went on it. 10 quid extra for some dude to simply say "Take a long cut in and flatten off."

Cool

I wish someone had told me that before I hit my first kicker. It's a lesson soon learnt!

How come they charge for a course when every other cable seems not to?

Dimmer, good to hear from you chap - I wondered where you'd gone. Yeah am aiming to get over on sunday. Should be a blast. It's always interesting to see what new trick Will has nailed in a week too. Bel airs are new from last week!

stop being nieve.
Don't look at it as you have to do this cource to be allowed, look at it as tuition from some of the UK's best cable riders on how not to kill yourself. It's worth doing, especially if Adz, or richie are about.
You can either spend ages stacking but saving a tenner, or yu can spend your ten pounds and take the next step towards being an actual rider rather than a gumby who falls on his face everyday.

I just didnt find it paticuly useful, especially the bit about putting a pink bib on. Were you supposed to get something saying you did it as well? Cause that didnt happen.
However I expect they have to run these courses and have the rule for insurance reasons so you cant really blame them.

Damn, Bel Airs... That's what I wanted to nail.. I landed on my head when I tried... good on him. Who else is riding there these days since Dave's departure... is Gary still there?

Also, how's the whole kicker & slider situation? What's in at the mo?
