Default How can I learn to hit kickers and sliders?

I went to Thorpe the other weekend, and was told I can't attempt to hit their obsticles until I complete their "Awareness Course" (But they are not holding any more this year) so I packed my board back up and drove up to WakeMK.

They said it was fine to hit anything as long as I sign my life away. Sweeet. So I get my gear on, hire a helmet and head down to the cable.

The kicker and small sliders were all on the left side, with 2 HUGE sliders on the right. I'm goofy footed so I didn't really fancy going for sliders and kickers on my toe side, or better still, switch, with a long swim accross the cable path every time I fell in.

What can I do?

Get down to Princes, no test, no nada.... big ol kicker on the goofy heelside and a couple of goofy toeside sliders on the main lake, get over to the back lake for a goofy heelside slider and a goofy toeside mini-ramp.....

Go back to Thorpe, put your helmet on and just go for it, if you nelly about and look like you haven't a clue then you might get asked a few questions but i doubt it. I hit the big kicker there and mostly land on my head but thats up to me and ive certainly never taken any "training course". Just go for it man.

Toby: You know I don't have a clue about hitting the obsticles.

Paul: Where abouts is Princes? I'm up for a drive but I don't know where it is.

Drivesalot: Good point. I might give that a go. Go big or go HOME!

See you on the other side geezars
