Am i the only one hacked off with the events of wakestock?

Yes we can all appreciate that the weather caused extreme problems however things could have been handled better......."rant from a wakeboarder/festival goer/music lover"

Friday night schedule completely wrong....last years scheduling was bad with perfect weather but this year was just a joke. I cant remember seeing one of the acts that i wanted to see at all as for them being on at the correct time forget it.

Suggestion for improvement - If schedule changing has to happen why not display a revised timetable in each tent so the people that have paid for the privilige of seeing their favourite acts acutally get to see them.

Sat night cancellation - where was the announcement?
message on website said that the campsite would be open until 3:00PM sunday so why did the security staff need to be so aggresive and inform people that if they did not leave they would be forcibly removed by 5:00PM saturday.
Some people start drinking alcohol early at festivals. These people were forced to drive home whilst potentially under the influence. Is this really in the best interests of public safety.

Suggestion for improvement - once cancellation decision has been made please please please get a very clear message out to all the people on the campsite of what you expect them to do.

Half money back seems fair and should encourage people to come back next year. But i really hope the organisers review this years events and look at how they can improve next year.
I would hate to see wakestock dissapear altogether
well organised it is the best event of the year!

mate you should voice your opinions to the wakestock office (if you haven't already done so) saying it on here won't change anything. there is an email address on the website.
