I've got a 20' Fletcher with a 205hp 4.3l V6 inboard sterndrive and am thinking about getting a wakeboard tower made for it. Has anyone got any advice such as how high you can have it without having too much danger of capsizing it when edging hard outside the wake, design ideas for folding, problems you may have encountered, the best materials to use (I was thinking of stainless) and all that sort of stuff. When you are talking about heights, are you talking above the water level, above the boat floor level or above the side gunnels? What's the standard height, and could a boat my size handle it? Your help would be well appreciated.

Hey there!
I can help you when it comes to towers, I import towers and have a fresh shipment on its way (expected to be delivered within 3 days) I can supply a tower with a 5 year warranty and all fitting hardware for £890!! check out www.monstertower.com for info on the tower or see my website www.wakeboardtowers.co.uk For peace of mind I would recommend a profesionally built tower, however if you still want to make one I don't mind helping out a bit on the information side. I hope this has been of use. Kindest Regards, Mike Dovey Wakeboard Towers UK ![]() |
