Default Places to board near York ??

Does anybody know of anywhere close to York where i can get a tow? Im currently having to go over to Hull for a 15 minute tow - bout 90 minute round trip.

Also, does anybody know of anywhere in Yorkshire where I could get some proper teaching, where I am at the moment its really hard to organise a boat driver and someone who can teach me.

Cheers

Andy

We live about an hour away from York.

We go to Sheffield Cable Ski at Rother Valley. Just south of Sheffield.

It is £26 all day on the cable.

Andy the guy that owns is a great teacher he goes out of his way to offer you advice adn support. There are a great bunch of people there and it is a great fun day out.

You can also camp there for £3.

Is this what you are looking for?????

Thanks - both of you. I found a couple of clubs nearer York & will probably join one next year - unless membership is way more. And I'll try the cable out as soon as my knee's sorted.

Cheers

Andy
