Depends what you have done to your knee - most knee braces / the cheaper knee braces don't actually do much, they keep your knee warm which is no bad thing but apart from that - they do dick. Best to rest up or get it looked at. CTI sports do great braces - have blown out my ACL and the brace i got from them has kept me riding for the past 2 seasons - cost a few quid though. Check out www.technologyinmotion.com that may help. Good Luck!

Thanks for your help milo I have checked out there web site and the braces look good, I have one of those crap ones at the moment from the chemist but as you say it dosent seem to do much, Im not quite sure of the problem with it yet but am gonna rest it for a few day's and then if no improvement will go and see somebody about it, do I need to just see a doctor or is it a specialist thing?

God Millo, that sounds like a nightmare injury, I bet you were pulling a massive trick when you did that.

I assume you did do it boarding, and not like er, breakdancing whilst drunk or something

Default knee brace

i pulled my cruciate ligament, had to have 7 months off over the winter, kept training at the gym doing low impact exercise to strengthen muscles surrounding knee, and now use a neoprene knee brace with pivoting plastic splints from 'Burton' surprisingly it is not to expensive, and so far i have not had any prolemose.
