Do Ivy Lake have a new website? I used to have them in my 'favourites' but the link didn't work so I deleted it. Anyone know?

Is it expensive to join Ivy Lake? Maybe it's worth saving through the winter ready for the new season!

Simon & Ryan - If you do manage to get a club going could it be open to non- students too??

Simon - not sure how a wakeboard club would work, or how to set one up.

Just been looking at Ivy Lakes and considering becoming a member, anyone know what type of boat they use.

Simon - Seen you've been speaking to the mentalchip guy, any idea if his boat produces a nice wake. The boats i usually ride behind are being taken for winter storage and need a new ride for a few weeks, got a nice board someone can share and will pay towards petrol, board is 2003 hypelite premier 135 with Nice PRS1 bindings size 8-10

ryan - i dont know what boat mental chip has, if he comes back on here im sure he'll post it up
did you wakeboard behind the Xstar that was in the harbour, or was it your own boat?
I'm not sure whether to buy a board now or wait till the new season...
Ive got my eye on a liquid force evo 138 but i really need to demo one somewhere first, and everyone seems to have stopped doing demos cos its the end of the season. although it would be cheaper now...argh

I wish i could ride behind the Xstar, i've seen it in the harbour and it looks sweet.

Usually ride behind either of the following boats 17ft Fletcher, 20ft Sea Ray, None of these compare to a proper wakeboard boat, but they can produce a good enough wake for alot of tricks as long as the water is flat.

Have ridden behind the X2 at ringwood lakes, thats nice to ride behind and you can get some mad air.

London Boat Show in January usually has good deals on previous season boards, or you could wait and get a 2004 model. i think zone 6 had an evo for sale a couple of months ago, dunno if he still has it. Don't forget that you'll need a decent pair on bindings too, these make a big difference aswell.
