Default Wakeskates?

Question 1: Are wakeskates worth the hassle?
2. I've got a screwed board. Does anyone know how easy/difficult it is to chop down and make it into a wakeskate?

Answers on a postcard please....

Wakeskates rock, def helps if you have a skating past, but getting up is the same as a wakeboard, if you get the driver to chug forward very slow, get the board under your feet, it will stick to ya feet like you have got bindings on.

Aha the crazy gang is back again.......
I think I'll take the saw to my old board and crop it a bit, stick some grip tape on it...has anyone done this before? I'm keen not to f*** it up, because my old board is gonna make a sweet table otherwise.

Default Skating rocks

Dude chopping your old board just aint gonna work youll expose the core and once the water gets in it will fall apart in weeks, best to save your old board for hitting sliders and get a proper skate you can get one for around £150. Ive only tryed it a few times but i was hooked after the first time i got up.
