a bit late but here's All about Jonty Green:
Age: 19 DOB: 10/06/85 History: Jonty started wakeboarding in June 1999 after breaking his wrist and missing out on a school ski trip. Starting at Hardwick Park near Oxford, Jonty moved on in 2000 to Queensford club in Dorchester on Thames. As he improved he moved on in summer 2000 to train with Stew Mackie at the Quayside Wake & Ski and also started riding the cable at Princes. 2001 First year of competition White Stuff UK Wakeboard Tour 3rd Junior Men (Overall) JMC UK Wakeboard Nationals 2nd Junior Men 2002 At the beginning of the year Jonty went to train in South Africa for two weeks with Stew Mackie at Ross Astrop's Wake Safari. Jonty passed the Ski Boat Drivers Award in June 2002 Unfortunately Jonty broke his leg boarding at the beginning of July 2002 and missed the UK Tour season and his chance to represent the UK in the World Championships in Rio de Janeiro. Jonty continued to drive and coach at Princes and Quayside despite his leg being in plaster. Jonty's leg came out of plaster in October 2002 and he went to train in New Zealand and Australia for the whole of winter returning in March 2003. 2003 Jonty is currently driving and coaching at Princes Club. He rides the boat and cable at Princes and is also in the British squad training at Quayside Wake & Ski. Jonty is competing in pro men division in all the UK cable and boat competitions and also riding in Live2Ride in the Outlaws. He is the current UK National Junior Men Cable Wakeboard Champion and is ranked 7th in Pro Men behind the boat.
