S**t animal, its cold this time of year around the harbour, you got a dry suit.

I board in and around the harbour, between may and october, usually too cold for me any other time. Theres loads of areas you can go boardin near the harbour, where you go usually depends on the wind direction and tide.

Places to board include
- Harbour Waterski zone, always perfect like glass, not suitable at low tide and risk of gettin busted by harbour master as u require a permit.

- Along sandbanks and branksome beach, in the right conditions this is my favourite spot with clear water and long runs. Tends to be very choppy most the time although every so often its like a mill pond in the evenings.

- Studland, Old Harry Rocks and Swanage are all good places to ride depending on wind conditions, can be a little crowded in the summer time.

- Blue pool is about a half hour boat ride from the harbour but always seems to be good conditions, never gets crowded as its too far for most people.

- Theres also a couple of lakes near ringwood that cost about £15 for 10 mins.
