Goods show though, managed to catch up with the old crowd.

All the best

Robin,

Yeah, I said hello to Mike and he dazzled me with the Monster Tower and how easily it would fit on my boat... must keep wallet shut, must not spend money ops:

Shame we didn't bump into each other but I managed to loose 6 of my friends and my missus during the show so it's not surprising we didn't meet up ;-)

I liked that team edition Super Air... interesting to see if they go as 'pimp daddy' as Mastercraft as I think they need to to keep the visuals as good as the wake.. wadya think?

J

I think you may have something there, although the MC's have always had the style edge slightly. I did like the look of the X-Star, however i personally prefer subtle. and that Team Edition was doing it for me, in almost a similar colour scheme.

Was a bit busy in the east hall and i nearly lost my 2 kids when io tried to leave, a real nightmare. possibly the worst bit of the venue. Couldn't get into the Arena and it was way too cramped.

I see Tige didn't have a stand wonder why ?? had a look at the Moomba which seemed ok although the proof is in the riding, and hopefully going to get to go to the X-Star test day later in the year which i am looking forward to.

All the best

Robin

It's quite interesting with the marketing because I think the way CC branded the names of their boats was excellent..

... you had the Air, the Super Air, the SA Team Edition... you knew year on year what was what and that your boat (if you had an Air for example) wasn't now a different name and lower down in the cred rating.

Mastercraft, although the flashier looking boats, renamed the X Star the X 2.. this was bit silly as it means that all X 2 owners have to remind people that their boat is really an X Star, just with a new name. The X2 just sounds like a worse boat than an X5!!

I think MC should have callled the new X star something like X Star Pro or X Star Max or similar - basically used the CC way of doing it so all the current X Star (X 2) owners were not compromised.

Just my 2 pennyworth

i totally agree, is an X10 better than an X2 ??

I think CC has it spot on its all Air, it just depends how much you want, as opposed to "you got the Tenth best in the product line"
