peanut, did there used to be a school on that lake anyway?? at some point. Did the poeple who run whitworth waterski used to run it?

there did used to be a ski school on the lake, not sure if it had anything to do with Whitworth though. Don't think theres been activity on the lake for a couple of years and they def didnt have a wakeboard boat.

Theres an old ski jump still floating in the middle of it. Which will very soon be a fat slider for wakeboarders.

When you say Chase do you mean Chase Water (as its known locally round here as Chase) and that is always rough water. Can't comment on the drivers or the ringo's :-)
