Default Board Repair

Hey im back already,

Last weekend one of my mates smashed my brand new Belmont into the jetty and caused some damage to side of the board. It hasn't gone deep enough to let water in, its more of a cosmetic damage. I have found a company that are willing to look at it and probably fix it. They are called Blue Chip and can be found at www.windsurfer.co.uk. However i was just wondering if anyone new of any other people that can fix boards for future reference. (Not that im planning on breaking again!!)

Cheers

Scott

you can buy small repair kits to do it yourself, it's not difficult to DIY.
the kit I got was by Double Up and I have no problems since, the gash in my board was about an inch deep.
How bad is the damage.
My board would have taken water on next time out but the repair kit did the trick.
Speak to Steve at Princes or give Wentworth sports a call they should have such kits.

Don't waste your time paying someone - do it yourself it is so much cheaper and takes all of 10 mins - get a decent kit though and make sure you repair outside preferably in the sun as it dries better.

My board started developing a couple or cracks around the edge, I have just used some epoxy resin to seal it watertight. Haven't been back on the water with it as I only fixed it last night, but this should do the job
