Default Wax

discussing wax on snowboards with mates the other day and one of them asked me "do you wax a wakeboard?" i didn't give an answer. i have thought about it before. Does anyone do it? is there any real advantage?

O'Brien tried the p-tex base in 2003 which you could theoretically wax. Not sure what happened with the supply on those boards though.

I wouldn't!
I know somebody who shall remain nameless, who should have known better, who tried it and it was carnage!
to cut a long explanation short think about this....
do surfers wax their boards to:
a.stop their feet from slipping
or
b.make it easier to fall off

skaters wax rails and copings and just about any DRY surface they can to improve slippiness, but water and wax is not a good look!

ps yes slippiness is a real word
