Default need a new board

i have been riding for just over a year now, i can do w2w 180 and a few different grabs. i currently have an obrien shapiro 138 with exit 13 bindings, nothing special i know. i was just wondering if this board is good enough to keep me advancing or do i need to buy a better one

An absolutly fine board, I think you are underrating it alot.

W2W 180's are basic moves for that setup.. which is capable of just about anything.

as said thats a pro setup, capable of double fronts, 900's, blind 5's, slim chances. It's not going to hold you back. Watch Darin Shapiro on that board, and Daniel Watkins in those bindings and you'll see.

Yeah I'm with Kritstian. however, Maybe its not the right board for you if you are having trouble with it.

Perhaps something more forgiving would be in order, I'd suggest having a word with a quality coach who has seen you ride, Ask him if he thinks the board is suitable - hey it may even be something basic like its the wrong size!

i can ride the board fine, ive loved it ever since i got my hands on it. the only reason i questioned its capabilties of progressing was that no one ever seems to mention obrien. also we have been riding behind a rather sub standard boat. but that changed this week with the purchase of a master craft. not an x-series but still a very nice 1997 prostar 3. just about to start looking at fat sacs and things like that. any help would be much appreciated
