Thorpe-
:!: Cons :!: PRICEY, can get intimidating, expect big ques on nice days meaning between 2 and 4 pulls on the cable per hour, having to book about three months early for a boat slot, quite a few snobbish boarders :?

:!: Pros :!: Amazing facilities, lovely site, nicely sheltered from the wind, nice and well equiped shop, generally quite nice people down there, top notch rental gear, a nice summery/classy (?!) cafe/bar/restaurant.

And I havent been to Princes.

Well that wasted five minutes of my History COurseowrk

Default My opinion

Okay, I had to take up the challenge:

Thorpe
Pros - great atmosphere, nice place, good facilities
Cons - expensive, the staff aren't very friendly, gets very busy in the summer

I've only been to the Princes Shop but the guys in there were lovely.

boarded and shopped at both, i prefered riding at princes cause of shorted q's and access to 2 cables (variation) also alot more friendly if ur not a regular.

If i boarded on one of these two regularly, i'd go to jb cause it seems like there's alot more of an 'in' scene goin on down there, everyone seems to know each other, but if you're not one of them u feel a bit out of place.
