i live in cheltanham, and me and my mate ride cheaply at willen lake Milton Keynes (cable

drive is about 1.5 hours but if you spenad 3-4 hours there - its not too bad.

If your looking for a boat ride (well it is called wakeboarding), try

craigcohoon (http://www.craigcohoon.co.uk/) - Fairford or Oxford (about an hours drive) http://www.oxfordwsc.com

hope this helps

I'm from Cheltenham too. Craigs is not to far, but I'm looking to visit a few places when my leg gets better. WMWaterski only took about an hour 15 from chelt and oxford isn't too far.

hey,

i ride at the oxford wwc club and it is really good there. If you are trying to contact the club i would recomend that you ring them in the afternoon or evening as there is often no-one around during the day! it would be worth your persistance as it really is a nice place to ride.

hope i helped
Jules

Hello

Also from the Cheltenham area and looking for somewhere to learn. I am a beginner and am trying to find somewhere to go for my first lesson/s. Any ideas? I don't mind travelling.

I go to Keynes most weeks for the snow. What is WakeMK like. Can you learn there with a boat?

Actually is it best to learn with the boat or on a cable?

Sorry about all the questions.

i live in gloucester an used to be a member at craigs for like 10 years, its an ok place but they use a standard nautique and not typically that wakeboard friendly, also there can be up to 5 boats on the lake at the same time an you will be lucky to get decent water. i was lucky tho as i rode with hamish lowe on his x2 all the time. if you are willing to travel you can get to oxford in an hour an a half, thorpe in 2 an mk in 2. i would recomend oxford, i rode there a lot this year, they have an x2 an isnt too expensive for non members.
