Default Midlands and Birmingham

Hi Guys,

I'm just wondering of what places are best to go in the Midlands/Birmingham area and what events may be going on around 20th-30th August. So far wmwaterski club is the only one that we've come across that seems to have a good reputation. What about Cannock Chase, Solihull and places like that? Are there any more lakes worth going along to and having a look at?

Cheers guys.

Well you can try CHase Water @ Brownhills, Burton On Trent ride on the river, Stoke is on the move over to Barton under Needwood(still in flux) Telford lake is at J4 on the M54 but they only allow their mates to join but the jewel in the crown has to be bomere at Shrewsbury (www.bomere.co.uk)

Where are you based ?? pm me as i live and ride in the area.

Robin

I totally agree that Bomere is a really nice lake. I went on a wakeboard camp there and it was great. Really good facilities like showers etc. & you can get excellent food there. It's not cheap to be a member there but then they do say you get what you pay for.......it's very well maintained.
